Wool Fat Bath Soap

The Chiltern Brewery

Originally developed in the 1930's in Yorkshire, this Wool Fat Soap is still manufactured using the same recipe that was discovered by accident over a century ago. Yorkshire was best known for its association with the wool industry, and as such had a large population of wool sorters and sheep shearers. Drawn on the effect that natural lanolin found in sheep's wool had on the hands of the sorters and shearers, the soap bar was then developed to share the qualities with non-wool related individuals. The result is a super-nourishing soap bar that is excellent for dry and sensitive skin types.
