Bucks Barley Golden Ale 4.8% - 500ml Cases

The Chiltern Brewery

Bright · Balanced · Born in Buckinghamshire

Bucks Barley is one of our Small Batch Brews, and a beer we’re particularly proud of.

Brewed using barley grown right here in Buckinghamshire, this bright golden ale has a creamy malt backbone, gentle sweetness and a delicate floral hop character. The result is a beer that’s easy to enjoy, yet thoughtfully made — refreshing, balanced and with a satisfying depth on the palate.

Bright and golden in the glass, Bucks Barley is smooth and rounded, with the malt providing softness and body, balanced by subtle dried fruit notes and a clean, refreshing finish from classic British hops.

Born in Buckinghamshire

This brew celebrates our long-standing relationship with the Waddesdon Estate, just a few miles from the brewery. Working closely with the Estate’s farming team, we grow regeneratively farmed malting barley that suits the local micro-climate and carries the unmistakable Chiltern stamp — born in Buckinghamshire and shaped by its landscape.

Once harvested, the barley is sent to be malted specially for us at one of Britain’s rarest maltsters, ensuring quality and character from field to glass.

Small Batch Brew

Bucks Barley is brewed in small quantities as part of our Small Batch Brew range, so availability is limited. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.
