Partner Tom Jenkinson explained that the money raised came from a percentage of sales of the popular ‘Battle of Britain Old Ale’ that they brew on site in Terrick, Aylesbury. The money has accumulated over the past couple of years but is a regular, and greatly received donation by them. This amazing fundraising initiative dates back to 2004 when the ale was rebranded and renamed as the ‘Battle of Britain Old Ale’ and it is a delicious traditional ale that packs a memorable punch.
Thank you Chiltern Breweries, this kind donation will help towards the provision and support of facilities and activities for the efficiency and well-being of Service personnel and their families at RAF Halton."
