Only 108 bottles remain, including milestone numbers and distinctive low numbers from the numbered series.

Once these are gone, Ruby Anniversary Ale will finally disappear from the cellar.

The Beer

Ruby Anniversary Ale is one of the most sought-after bottled beers we’ve ever brewed.

Originally created with CAMRA in 2013 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Good Beer Guide, the beer was re-brewed last year as part of our 45 Years of Brewing celebrations — bringing a much-loved recipe back from the archives.

Deep claret in colour with rich aromas of raisin, cedar and dark fruit, the beer is brewed using five malts and grains alongside five traditional hop varieties, producing a wonderfully layered and complex strong ale.

Bottle conditioning allows the beer to develop beautifully over time, creating a smooth, rounded character that rewards slow enjoyment.

The Final Numbered Release

This final allocation consists entirely of short-numbered and milestone bottles, including:

• Low numbers (1–100)

• Milestone numbers (100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800 and 900)

Each bottle is individually numbered, making this a genuine collector’s release.

As with the original launch, demand is expected to be strong.
