Delicious home baked fruit cake made with Bodger's Barley Wine.  Serves approx 6.

Beautifully baked by hand in small batches, this wonderfully moist and fruity cake has been a favourite in our Shop for more than three decades.

Each cake is handmade locally, with fruit soaked for two days in our multi-award-winning Bodger’s Barley Wine before baking — giving it a rich, deep flavour and beautifully balanced sweetness.

It’s the perfect gift, or a simple, a well-earned treat with a cup of tea after a stint in the garden, or climb up Coombe Hill.

A favourite in our family, is as a slice with a generous helping of cream for dessert...

Shelf Life: our cakes are handmade and have a 4 week shelf life from the date of baking. If you would like to know the best before date of the cakes we have in stock, please contact us before ordering.
