Our autumn ale

One of our most popular seasonal beers, Copper Beech is a smooth, burnished red ale that returns each autumn.

With its warming malt character, gentle sweetness and lightly hopped finish, it's a wonderfully rounded beer – and one we always look forward to welcoming back as the seasons begin to change.

Copper Beech pours a distinctive burnt-orange colour, with a smooth, rounded character and gentle spice.

At 4.4%, the combination of warming malt flavours and a lightly hopped finish makes for a beautifully balanced and very drinkable autumn ale.

There are certain beers that mark the changing seasons here at the brewery, and Copper Beech is one of them.

Its return signals the move from the lighter beers of summer towards the richer flavours of autumn – a seasonal favourite we've been bringing back year after year.

Usage

Our mini-casks are filled with fresh beer straight from our conditioning rooms at The Brewery. It’s the freshest way to enjoy our beers at home and very convenient if going to a party.  Unopened they have a long shelf-life of at least two weeks and once opened need to be consumed over 4 days.

They come ready to drink and don’t need settling.
