Session IPA is one of our most popular summer beers — brewed for long afternoons in the garden, relaxed evenings with friends and those occasions when one pint naturally leads to another.

Light golden in colour and full of bright hop character, it combines refreshing citrus notes with delicate floral aromas to create a beer that is crisp, balanced and wonderfully drinkable.

Brewed exclusively with Buckinghamshire-grown malting barley and classic English hops, Session IPA celebrates everything we enjoy about brewing locally: simple ingredients, carefully chosen, producing a beer that is full of flavour without ever becoming heavy.

At just 3.4% ABV, it offers all the refreshment and character of a modern pale ale in an easy-drinking session strength.

Brewed Close to Home

The barley used to brew Session IPA is grown 5 miles from the brewery, continuing our long-standing partnership with local farming.

Combined with English hops that contribute bright grapefruit, orange and floral character, the result is a beer that is unmistakably fresh, balanced and proudly rooted in the Chilterns.

Usage

These mini-casks are filled with fresh unfiltered beer straight from our conditioning rooms at The Brewery. It’s the freshest way to enjoy our beers at home and very convenient if going to a party.  Unopened they have a long shelf-life of at least two weeks and once opened need to be consumed over 4 days

They come ready to drink and don’t need settling.
